Going home.
This might be one of my favorites so far because I am seeing so much improvement in my technique. I am still working on the legs, but I really felt like rendering last night, so I practiced my lighting and came up with a theme that could work with a stiff pose.

Meet Peska.
Improv character tonight! I did not plan him or know he would be born. He just emerged from my practice tonight while I was trying to learn some new things. He sort of looks like Joe Torre. Obviously, this was not planned.
Let’s name him! I have no idea what he is or what he does. Does he like Twilight? No! Does he roam the night in search of poetry? Mayyyyybe? Does he only eat rubber?...

Beware.
I am having a great night of work! I have been sculpting a monster, but had a great accident. While checking all angles, I flipped the monster upside down and saw this fortune teller, so I made her! She might be one of my favorite things I’ve ever made.
If you look at her upside down, she looks like the dude below without eyeballs.

Burrowing
An interesting thing happened tonight. I had a brief flash of a body of work! This happens to me every time something good is about to happen related to my work, so I am really excited. The past few weeks have been interesting. I cut the tip of my index finger pretty badly (cut the nail off down the middle with a pocket knife) and couldn’t draw comfortably for a few weeks. It has sucked....
