Good Guy: Peace Bow Angel

Whoa! I am really happy about this one. The wizard from yesterday has become a good guy character *and* an experiment in how I want to present the characters I design. I am starting to get a level of believability that I like! I only sculpted a bust, so I had to get creative with my renderings for the composition. It brought him down to eye level, which I liked, and opened up a nice area at the top for a title area. It also works without the title, but I wanted to try something new for presentation.  

I thought this guy looked godly, but i wanted him to look experienced, so I gave him a weapon, but made the weapon a peaceful one. I kept calling it the Peace Bow. Just go with the name and imagine what it does. That’s more fun than if I were to tell you.

I am also testing some new type for SoS. The letters you see are a font I made of my own writing called Muir. I am trying to give SoS some custom details now that I am getting into a groove.

Wizard Turntable - Trying it out

I got so excited about rendering a BPR Turntable that I forgot his eyelids, ears and a bunch of other things. It’s all good. He looks pretty cool. I am getting better at painting and detailing skin.
